Planning notes
Fillers sit between a cabinet and a wall, appliance or another cabinet. They make up the difference between standard cabinet widths and the actual wall length, and stop doors and drawer fronts from hitting a wall or handle when they open.
Fillers are usually scribed — cut to match a wall that is not perfectly straight or plumb — so order them wider than the gap and trim on site.
